Writing Samples up at Wolf Steel

Well, I've got some writing samples up on the website for your reading pleasure. Specifically, I got samples of "The Quiet Legion" and "The King Snake" up today. I got done with a big push at work this Friday, which takes a major load off my back. I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of writing. Maybe I'll get a little bit done tonight. Who knows?

I plan to continue adding more writing samples to Wolf Steel, as well. I'm reading "Poison Study" by Maria V. Snyder right now. Bought it at the con after I chatted with her. She's super nice, and it's a neat book. I'll let you know more when I finish with it. Anyway, that's my day. Take care!

This is a good selection, Patrick. Along with your poetry, it certainly gives one a good idea of your broad interests. Clicking on the Wolf Steel link looks as though it's going to provide real rewards for your readers. It's also enjoyable to get a little insight into who you are. Thanks.

I've been checking out Wolf Steel and this site, and you've piqued my interest. I'm more into horror and thrillers, so I'm looking forward to see the stories you have up at Wolf Steel.

Being a person who loves poetry more than anything else, I hope you don't stop writing poetry, because I enjoy reading your poems.

Best wishes getting your sites filled in with stories :-)

I will be checking back.

Doc,

Well, we'll see how things go, right?

m. shahin,

A new poem (or collection of poems, perhaps) is up at Hawkcircle, so you can see that I'm still at it! I hope you enjoy my samples and stories at Wolf Steel. Thanks for coming by.

I just finished the 2 parts to "The King Snake" and I must say that it is excellent so far. Very suspenseful and it puts the reader on edge. You had my attention about 6 sentences in.

I keep wanting for her to escape, get out of the car and run even with all the bruises. It is frustrating watching her sit in the car as she is taken away.

I feel for Allison, so I think you have a good character here; one that I can feel sympathy for and I want her to be safe in the end. Of course, I know your story might take an unexpected turn...

Marlboro man is quite disturbing and I'm hoping Allison makes a getaway. Eagerly awaiting the next installment.
