As of last night, I'm at 20,451 words, and the second act is finished. I think the story's coming out great. I have another week of writing to finish the third act. My guesstimate for total length is around 25k or 26k. If I keep my mojo working this week, that'll give me up to nine days to edit the darned thing. I don't feel like there are any big plot holes to fill (thanks, outline!), and the writing has been coming out fairly clean. It'll be spit and polish, for the most part, I hope.
I've had good responses from my alpha readers, so I think all is well.
